Who is Dots?
Hi there, thanks for stopping by. My name is Alexander Dotsenko (friends call me Dots) and I think I have a bag fever. It all started back in 2011 when I first got my hands on Mission Workshop Fitzroy 40L backpack and my life has never been the same.
After traveling with the Fitzroy across Canada, Eastern and Western Europe, South-East Asia my needs have expanded and evolved to a point when I started to look for other bags and thus the great quest begun in search of a Perfect bag (or at least the combination of bags that would synergize well with each other and finally cover all my needs)
On this journey, I was lucky to test many different bags and accumulate experiences worth sharing. Mission Workshop, Peak Design, Attitude Supply, AER, Boundary Supply, Remote Equipment, Black Ember, Greenroom136, Life Behind Bars, GUD - just to name a few awesome brands I had a pleasure to try.
Through this blog, I intend to share my take on the bags I carry as well as some “in the wild” photos taken by my beautiful wife Elvira :)
